About Me
| Danielle McGlynn competed in her very first fitness show in November of 2004 in Anaheim, California at the Ms. Bikini America Pageant. It was there she met all of her favorite fitness stars that she had read about in her favorite fitness magazine, Oxygen Magazine.
She made wonderful connections and friends and two years later, at that very same show where she started, she won her class as well as the overall title of Ms. Bikini America. Danielle has always had a passion for health and fitness. Right out of high school she landed a great job at a Nutrition and Fitness facility in her home town of Fort Lauderdale in south Florida, and enrolled herself in to Clayton College of Natural Health to learn about Holistic Nutrition. Not only did Danielle work full time hours, she put herself through school financially and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Holistic Nutrition. She also attended Fitness Institute and completed 3 of their programs, becoming a Fitness Instructor specializing in Nutrition Education and Weight Management. Danielle and her husband James moved to Nashville, TN in the fall of 2006 and welcomed their 1st child, Jacob Mitchell McGlynn, in December of 2008. She had a remarkable pregnancy, gaining only 30lbs, a quick delivery lasting only 20 minutes! That's incredible for a 1st time mom, delivering an 8lb 4oz child! Even more spectacular, Danielle was able to bounce back to her pre-baby weight in 3 short months! Danielle returned to the stage in June of 2010, placing 1st at the Ms. Bikini Universe Pageant and then a few months later in Vegas, at the Fitness America Pageant, where she placed 9th. One of the best experiences in Vegas was being able to reconnect with fellow competitor, friend and now photographer, Lianna Saadi Louzon, capturing some amazing images! If you take time to get to know Danielle McGlynn, you will learn quickly how much she loves her husband James and son Jacob and that taking care of them truly does come first. She makes everything else she does fit in naturally, as she feels, doing anything to an extreme is just not healthy and just not worth it. Especially if it gets in the way of her relationship with her boys! |

2010 Fitness America Pageant

I just returned from the 2010 Fitness America Pageant that was held for the 3rd year, in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were more than 500 of the best competitors from around the world and I was more than happy with my placing!!! This was the 2nd time performing a fitness routine & personally, I just wanted to make through my routine. With no gymnastics background, and feeling out of place, I can't expect anything more than that. Well, I landed in 9th place out of 35 of the best which, was better than my last placing when it comes to fitness. It was so nice seeing everyone and amazing shooting with Liana Saadi Louzon. I met Liana when I first competed back in 2004. What a wonderful and light hearted person! She is also an AMAZING performer, and now, AMAZING photographer. I am so lucky that I had a chance to work with someone so fun, professional & time efficient.
