About Me
| I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I have always been physically active having played soccer and participated in swimming from a young age.
I started weight training when I was fifteen to increase my strength on the soccer pitch, since I was competing against girls much larger than myself. I eventually decided to compete after being prodded to do so by my current trainer, Craig Bonnett of Contestprep.ca, and wanting to take on a new challenge in life. Educationally I have completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba. I am a certified Athletic Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. The human body and how it works has always fascinated me and I am incredibly excited to have aquired the knowledge and experience to do anything from rehabilitation of any musculoskeletal injury to personal training of elite athletes. Currently I work part time at a local GNC store and as a personal trainer/athletic therapist. I have currently gone back to school to obtain my Paramedic certification. I would not be able to complete half of what I have in the past couple years without the support of my boyfriend, Curtis Trudeau; who is a Pro Bodybuilder with the WBFF! |
