|I am a husband and father of 2 beautiful children with disabilities...however...my children prove to me every single day that life is beautiful.I was injured in a car accident in 2006 and had a torn shoulder cuff/nerve damage/insomnia and suffered from post concussion syndrome for the better part of 5 years.I put on weight after the accident.I then went from being the slim guy to the overweight guy and became the focus of ridicule from some family members and friends.Desperate to rebuild myself-on the advice of a bodybuilding friend of mine-I took my first before pic on September 4th 2010 and STAYED OUT OF THE GYM.My friend said get a resistance band and a dumbell and work out with these as much as possible and follow a healthy diet-no supplements-until I felt their was a need.I went from a waist 42 and 213 lbs to my current waist 32 and 182lbs.I gained control and shed at least 5-6 years of pain and grief from stress.I am now in full control of mind and body.|
